Strong Women
I came from a line of fighters
My mum and sisters too;
To roll up our sleeves and get stuck in
Is something we all would do!
I came from a strong foundation
Stood tall on the shoulders of queens;
Great ladies of morals and stature
And virtues now mostly unseen!
I came from a stock of survivors
Many written off before they were born;
To pass through the fire unbroken
