Kglo Products & Services is a family owned business. It’s CEO is Raquel Cheney, the tenth of eleven children born to Gwendolyn Brown, who herself is the oldest of eight children.
Ms Gwendolyn, known also as Ms Gwen or Mamma Gwen, is the inspiration for the Cook Book “Ms Gwen’s Secrets To Bahamian Cooking”. She is also the motivation for the brand “Mamma Gwen’s, fresh and satisfying food products, which is being launched in December 09.
Mamma Gwen has imparted her heart, drive and strict work ethics on all of her children and is proud to be able to share in the preservation of such through her daughter Raquel who has also founded a small charity called HHUGG.
Her influence is again evident in the poetry book called “A Journey Of Thought” also written by Raquel Cheney. The poem Strong Women is only a glimpse of the stock from which mother and daughter have come.
